About the author

Jackai Musonge is a journalist, writer and actor from the Republic of Cameroun, Central Africa. He earned a Master's degree in Writing Studies from Saint Joseph's University (Philadelphia, USA) in May 2007, and a Bachelor's degree in Broadcasting with a minor concentration in Journalism from Temple University (also in Philadelphia) in August 2002. "International Student Part One: Journey to America," though primarily fictional, was inspired by some of the author's experiences living as a student in Philadelphia for eleven years.
