Kiren Thathiah is an erstwhile professor of visual art and design. His academic career spans over twenty-five years and he has taught at all levels from primary school to university. He holds university qualifications in the Fine Arts, Education and Public Management. His artworks are represented in national collections and he had numerous exhibitions nationally and internationally. He has also published research articles in academic journals. His public service includes serving on the boards of the National Arts Council and the National Art Gallery. His present position as research associate allows him to continue with academic research while pursuing other creative opportunities.
